Whether you're taking the first steps on your musical journey or you're an advanced working drummer looking for new material to work on, Russ will be more than able to assist & inspire you. Russ has previously studied extensively with notable teachers including Jim Blackley, Allan Cox & Bob Armstrong and due to these experiences he has a developed a clear understanding & insight into the most effective drum teaching methods. All styles will be covered including Jazz, Funk, Rock, Pop & Latin. Emphasis will also be placed on reading music & rudiments as well as developing good listening habits and correct technique at the drum set.
